In the event where we have a bird that cannot be released back into the wild or a domestic bird who’s owner could not be relocated within 6 months, they are put up for adoption here.

Although we try our best to release all birds to their rightful place, some birds have lifelong injuries or are too friendly to survive in the wild.
Often times, we also get domestic birds turned into our organization and simply do not have the space.

You can help us foster a bird of your choice! Email us an application but specify in the body of the email that you aren’t ready for an adoption quite yet.

Foster! Give the bird a test run and see if it’s right for your family. We ask that you foster for a minimum of 2-4 weeks to ensure the bird is not shuffled around into too many different environments.

We are donation based only. The adoption fee varies from bird to bird.

Stumpy
This is little Stumpy. 🕊 Stumpy was found with string tangled around her feet and legs. She has only two toes on one foot, and no toes on the other. Stumpy will need a forever home, with a soft floor. And she can fly! In fact, she loves to fly and crash land on a soft couch, or carpeted floor! 😊 We let her out at night, so if she’s hard to catch we just turn off the lights, and pick her up. She “tolerates” human touch, but with time and patience she could make a great pet! If you have room in your home and heart, please fill out an adoptions application
