“This group is amazing. I never thought of myself as a “Bird” person. Grew up with cats and dogs my whole life. My grandma taught me that all living things matter, and if I see any creature that needs help, I should do what I can to help it. Over a year and a half ago, I found a baby dove in our yard. I reached out on Facebook, and was directed to this group. I requested to join, and in a matter of minutes, had the information I needed to save the baby! Fast forward to present day… Besides our cat, two dogs, and turtle, we have 2 mynah birds that are unreleasable, 7 muscovy ducks, and a rooster. Thanks to this group we have fostered and released about 35 mallards, and 3 mynahs with 5 more on their way. I am humbled by the decimation and passion in this group for helping our feathered friends. These are my peeps (lol) and I feel like some of them have become family.”
